The ACLS Provider Original course covers:

- Basic Life Support skills
- Early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team and effective team dynamics

Students are expected to have a good working knowledge of EKG rhythms and pharmacology as well as algorithms before coming to class. You may add on the ACLS Prep: ECG & Pharmacology Bundle as an additional option! This course conveniently combines both the ACLS Prep: ECG and ACLS Prep: Pharmacology eLearning Courses into one convenient bundle for students who are preparing to take an AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course. 

Intended Audience: The course is designed for healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. Those who are renewing their ACLS but desire additional instructor feedback may also benefit from this class as well.
