BLS Renewal Course for Healthcare Professionals: CPR and Lifesaving Skills Training

The BLS Renewal Course is designed for healthcare professionals who need to refresh their knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and other essential lifesaving skills in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This course is commonly required by many hospitals and medical schools for individuals pursuing careers in healthcare, such as nursing students, EMT students, PA students, and other healthcare-related fields. Obtaining BLS certification is often mandatory before or during school sessions.

This educational program is offered in partnership with the American Heart Association (AHA), ensuring high-quality training that meets the latest healthcare guidelines.

What the BLS Renewal Course Covers:

• Adult and Pediatric CPR
• Two-Rescuer Scenarios and Bag-Valve Mask (BVM) Use
• Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction (for both conscious and unconscious patients)
• Automated External Defibrillation (AED) (including child AED updates)
• Special Resuscitation Situations
• Cardiopulmonary Emergencies
• Stroke and Cardiac Arrest

The BLS Renewal Course is shorter than the Initial BLS Course, as it is a refresher. The instructor will provide a concise review of essential topics, without the in-depth instruction covered in the initial course.

Eligibility & Registration:

• You can register for the BLS Renewal Course if your certification card is within 90 days of expiration. If your card is not valid for renewal, you will be required to switch to the Initial BLS Course.
• Please verify that your card is eligible for renewal before registering, as we do not offer refunds for ineligible cards.

Expired Card?

• If your BLS certification card has expired but is within 90 days of expiration, we can still honor the renewal price.
• If your card has expired for more than 90 days, please click here to sign up for the BLS Initial Course.
